I’m sure like ourselves you are missing our times of fellowship. We thank our Pastor for his devotionals and the ongoing sermons, please pray that God would continue to open His word to our pastor. We also thank those who have made it possible for us to see and hear these on the web site.
If you are able, please follow our website regularly for updates .Please contact us regarding prayer requests , news of people who are unwell, encouragements that you have had , and if necessary a visit from one of the leadership team.
We have just come to an end of another financial year, 2019/2020, we have been blessed by our God that we have been able to employ a full time Pastor, a part time worker and have had the church cleaned to such a high standard. The church has been well maintained, warm and comfortable. We have continued to support missions, (home and abroad), and give benevolent gifts to situations in special need.
We thank you all, both members and friends of Bethel, for your faithful giving to the Lords work during the past twelve months.
We find ourselves in a very testing situation as the Coronavirus threatens our church, our community, our nation and the very world itself. Please continue to pray for everyone around you, in your household, your street and your town, for protection their health, their ability to make ends meet as many people are laid off work.
Our plans for the near future are:
We have savings put aside for unexpected events; these will be used to carry on the ministry at Bethel for the foreseeable future.
Obviously, our Pastor’s wages will continue to be paid during the coming year, as will Carl and Annette’s likewise.
Our quarterly 10% mission giving is due at the end of this month. The £1150 will be honoured as agreed. We pray for all mission societies as their funding will be affected at this difficult time. We will endeavour to continue our support. A thank you from Shirley for your gifts towards the Leprosy Appeal. £275 was collected, made up to £400 from church funds.
With all this in mind, and with the enquires from several people asking how they can continue to give their collections, we would like to give you the opportunity to continue to give to the Lords work at Bethel
